“Setibanya Maria di tempat Yesus berada dan melihat Dia, tersungkurlah ia di depan kaki-Nya dan berkata kepada-Nya: ”Tuhan, sekiranya Engkau ada di sini, saudaraku pasti tidak mati.” Ketika Yesus melihat Maria menangis dan juga orang-orang Yahudi yang datang bersama-sama dia, maka masygullah hati-Nya. Ia sangat terharu dan berkata:”

Tuhan Yesus sedih bukan karena Lazarus mati tetapi Tuhan Yesus sedih melihat respon seorang Maria yang sudah banyak mendengar Firman tetapi tidak tahu isi hati Tuhan yang paling dalam.

Sebagai gereja Tuhan, maukah kita mendapatkan personal Hati Tuhan yang paling mendalam?

John 11:32-33 (NKJV)
“Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, ‘Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.’ Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. He said:”

The Lord Jesus was not sad because Lazarus died, but the Lord Jesus was sad seeing the response of Mary—who had heard so much of the Word yet did not know the deepest heart of the Lord.

As the church of the Lord, are we willing to receive the most intimate, personal heart of the Lord?
